Our mission as an educational non-profit is to empower high school students by providing access to high-level STEM research and mentorship from leading PhD students. We aim to inspire academic curiosity, enhance research skills, and prepare students for future success in STEM fields.
Jordan Cox is Co-founder and President of Advanced Preparatory Research (APR) Academy. Her academic journey began at Canterbury School of Florida, where a high-quality, personalized education sparked her passion for learning. She continued her education at Dickinson College, where the close-knit liberal arts environment emphasized the value of one-on-one mentorship and direct feedback. Jordan is currently completing her PhD in Materials Chemistry at Columbia University, specializing in quantum materials.
Drawing on her experiences, she established APR Academy to connect high school students with advanced scientific research and mentorship from leading PhD students. Jordan’s mission is to inspire young scholars, deepen their engagement with science, and equip them for future success in STEM fields.
